The prize fund will be distributed among the winners and professors of both the ONLINE and LIVE Competitions.


 ONLINE COMPETITION

Prizes and Awards

Winners of the Grand Prize of the Online Competition will be invited to perform at the Gala Concert and Award Ceremony of the Live Competition in July 2026 in Yerevan, Armenia.

Note: All cash prizes will be paid in Armenian drams (AMD) and transferred to the bank accounts provided by the recipients.

LIVE COMPETITION

Prizes and Awards

Winners of the Grand Prize of the GENERALBASS BMIPC 2025 will be invited to perform at the Opening Ceremony Concert of the Live Competition in July 2026 in Yerevan, Armenia.

 Note: All cash prizes will be paid in Armenian drams (AMD) and transferred to the bank accounts provided by the recipients. 


Acknowledgements 

  • Participants who achieve the Grand Prize will be awarded Cash Prizes, Certificates, and a Winner’s Cup, and will be officially announced as the Winners of the GeneralBass BMIPC 2026. 
  • Participants who receive the First Prize will be awarded Cash Prizes, Certificates, Medals, and the distinguished title of Laureate of the GeneralBass BMIPC 2026. 
  • Participants who receive the Second or Third Prize will be awarded Certificates, Medals, and the distinguished title of Laureate of the GeneralBass BMIPC 2026. 
  • All participants of the Second Round will receive Diplomas and will be granted the honorary title of Diploma Holder (Diplomant). 
  • All participants of the First Round who do not advance to the Second Round will receive Certificates of Participation.


Prizes and Awards

WINNERS OF THE COMPETITION
Participants who achieve the Grand Prize 

  • "GRAND PRIZE" will be awarded to competitors who receive 99-100 points.

 The students who receive the "Grand Prize" will be awarded certificates, medals, monetary rewards, and the distinguished title of Winner of the GeneralBass BMIPC 2026.
"Grand Prize" winners will receive: 

  • Age group A: Cash Prize -100 USD equivalent AMD, Certificate, Medal
  • Age group B: Cash Prize - 200 USD equivalent AMD, Certificate, Medal  
  • Age group C: Cash Prize - 300 USD equivalent AMD, Certificate, Medal 
  • Age group D: Cash Prize - 400 USD equivalent AMD, Certificate, Medal 
  • Age group E: Cash Prize - 500 USD equivalent AMD, Certificate, Medal 


Professors of the "GRAND PRIZE" winners will be acknowledged with certificates for outstanding results excellence in applying the highest pedagogical standards and methods, and Cash Prizes equivalent to the winners’ awards.


LAUREATES OF THE COMPETITION
Participants who receive
First, Second, and Third Prizes 

  • "FIRST PRIZE" will be awarded to competitors who receive 95-98 points.

 The students who receive the "First Prize" will be awarded certificates, medals, monetary rewards, and the distinguished title of Laureate of the GeneralBass BMIPC 2026.
 

Professors of the "FIRST PRIZE" winners will receive certificate for exellent application of the highest pedagogical standards and methods and monetary rewards. 


  • "SECOND PRIZE" will be awarded to competitors who obtain at least 91-95 points. 

 Students who receive the "Second Prize" will be awarded medals, certificates, and the distinguished title of Laureate of the GeneralBass BMIPC 2026. 

  • "THIRD PRIZE" will be awarded to competitors who obtain at least 85-90 points. 

 Students who receive the "Third Prize" will be awarded medals, certificates, and the distinguished title of Laureate of the GeneralBass BMIPC 2026. 
 

Professors who prepared the laureates of Second and Third Prize will be acknowledged with a certificates for their exceptional work and preparation of the laureate.  

 

DIPLOMA HOLDERS OF THE COMPETITION 

All participants of the Second Round will receive diplomas and will be awarded the title of “Diploma Holder (Diplomant) of the GENERALBASS BMIPC 2026.”

SPECIAL PRIZES

  • "SPECIAL PRIZE" may be conferred upon participants in recognition of exemplary technique, superior musicianship, expressive rendition, or other notable attributes as demonstrated in their performance or composition.  
  • "SPECIAL PRIZE" recipients will receive: certificates and monetary rewards.  

  

The ONLINE COMPETITION participants will receive the same prizes except for medals. 

  • The results will be announced on our Facebook page and confirmed by email. 
  • Grand Prize and First Prize winners will receive certificates and cash prizes
  • Second and Third Prize winners will receive certificates
  • Cash prizes will be sent to the bank account provided
  • Certificates will be sent by email


Judgement Criteria

In assessing each performance, equal importance is given to:

  • Overall musical impression
  • Accurate reading and execution of the score
  • Difficulty of the program
  • Musicality and technical abilities of the performer
  • Artistic expression, energy, and charisma conveyed on stage
  • The jury members are not allowed to participate in the evaluation of their students' performance.
  • The same evaluation criteria applies to the Online and Live Competitions.
  • All decisions of the Jury are final and shall not be subject to review, revision, or appeal.

Important Notes

  • Participation in the Gala Concert is obligatory for the winners of the Grand Prizes and First prizes. If possible, the Special prize winners will also play in the Gala concert. 
  • All prizes of the Live Competition will be presented during the Gala Concert at the Awards Ceremony.  
  • Prizes must be claimed in person at the ceremony; they will not be mailed.
