Izabella Paronyan 

Founder and Artistic Director 

Pianist, Educator, and Organizer of musical events.

Izabella Paronyan has dedicated her professional career to the development and promotion of classical music.

She specialized in instrumental performance at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas, in the class of Professor S. Dadyan. Continuing her postgraduate studies, she became high qualified as a concert performer, chamber ensemble soloist, accompanist, and teacher.

Izabella Paronyan has performed as a soloist, artist of the ensemble and piano duo at various concert venues both in Armenia and abroad. 

She is the author of the educational book "Magic Piano" and has been awarded numerous honors and diplomas for her contributions to musical arts and pedagogy. Her work has been recognized by the Yerevan City Cultural Administration and international music competitions in London, Paris, Vienna, Budapest, Abu Dhabi, St. Petersburg, Moscow, and other cities.

For many years, she has taught at leading musical institutions in Armenia, including the Music College after R. Melikyan and the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan

As the founder and director of Paronyan LLC, Izabella actively develops musical education in Armenia. In 2023, she founded the Art Academy Paronyan. The students of the Academy take an active part in the country's musical events and win top awards in national and international competitions.

 Izabella Paronyan is the co-founder and artistic director of the "GeneralBass" Baroque Music International Piano Competition, which has received great recognition in the music society and is a member of the Alink-Argerich Foundation.

Since October 2025, Isabella Paronyan has been the President of WPTA Armenia.

 Davit Davtyan 

Co-Founder and Coordinator 

David Davtyan is a musician, composer, student of the Philosophy Faculty of the Armenian Russian University

He graduated with honors from the Studio School at the Music College after R. Melikyan majored in Piano. He participated in national and international music competitions, where he received a number of awards. 

At the same time, Davit was studying at the art school after G.Budaghyan at the faculties of Percussion and Guitar.

From 2019 to 2023, he studied and graduated from the Music College after  R. Melikyan with a degree in percussion instruments. In the same year, he entered the Faculty of Philosophy of the Armenian-Russian University with a degree in philosophy of art. 

He is engaged in the creation of modern electronic music, is interested in a combination of new formats, genres, classical and technological approaches. 

From 2025, he is teaching at the Art Academy Paronyan as a percussion teacher. 

Davit Davtyan is a co-founder and coordinator of the GeneralBass Baroque music International Piano Competition. With his participation, the process of creating the contest website was carried out, as well as contacts with the international jury and participants. 

David Davtyan continues to be active in organizing cultural and educational events, contributing to the involvement of young people in both classical and innovative musical fields, including digital music.

Taron Jaghatspanyan

Head of the Organizing Committee 

Taron Jaghatspanyan is a young and talented pianist and educator.

He graduated from the R. Melikyan State Music College and is currently continuing his studies at the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan.

Alongside his artistic development, Taron has been actively involved in organizing concerts, competitions, and cultural events at Art Academy Paronyan, contributing to the creative growth of young musicians and fostering their love for music.

As a pianist, he has been awarded prizes in several international music competitions.

He also played an active role in the organization of the GENERALBASS International Piano Competition, contributing to its successful coordination and overall development.

Marianna Asloyan

Artist-Designer 

 Marianna Asloyan is a young and versatile artist who combines the worlds of design, animation, and cultural studies. She graduated with honors from the Terlemezian State College of Fine Arts (Department of Design) and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Regional Studies – Japanese Studies from the Russian-Armenian University, receiving a red diploma for academic excellence. 

Her creative work includes the design of artistic posters, stage costumes, video materials, and graphic concepts. In 2025, Marianna collaborated with the GeneralBass Baroque Music International Piano Competition as the principal artist–designer, developing the complete visual identity of the event. 

Previously, she has worked with the Yerazank Theater Group and contributed as an illustrator and designer for the Miracle Piano educational series.
Marianna is fluent in Armenian, Russian, English, and Japanese, and is highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sony Vegas, and Blender, among other creative software tools 

Anna Davtyan

Social Media Manager 


Anna Davtyan is a young artist and social media specialist, currently completing her high school education and preparing to continue her studies at Politecnico di Milano

She has demonstrated a strong sense of visual aesthetics and creativity, bringing a refined artistic approach to the development of the competition’s online presence. Anna is responsible for managing and curating the GENERALBASS BMIPC social media platforms, where her work reflects both professionalism and a distinctive design sensibility. 

Her dedication, attention to detail, and modern vision contribute significantly to the visual identity and communication of the competition.
