 Baroque Music International Piano Competition 

The jury of the GENERALBASS BMIPC 2026 consists of professional and highly experienced musicians, concert pianists, educators, and music producers from various countries.

Judgment criteria

• In judging the performances, equal weighting will be given to the overall musical impression and precisely reciting the piece exactly as written. Additional factors considered include the difficulty of the piece as well as the energy and charisma transmitted by the performer and the player’s technical abilities. 
• The jury members are not allowed to participate in the evaluation of their students' performance. 
• Jury decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
